Women's Pilot Shirt Size Guide: How to Find Your Size and Fit
Finding your women's pilot shirt size at BomCrewMall starts with the US–Euro size selector at the top of the product page. Use a uniform or dress shirt that already fits as your reference. If you do not have one, select Not Sure and continue through the flow.
Size, fit, and length are separate decisions. When one part of a shirt is wrong, you adjust that part and keep the rest.
The 5-Question Framework

|---|---|
Know your current women's shirt size
Select the matching US–Euro size
Have a letter size such as XS, S, M, L, or XL
Convert it with the chart below, then select the US–Euro size
Are unsure of your size
Select Not Sure
Need a size above US 20
Select Other and pick your size from the list that appears
The size selector sets the body of the shirt. Length, fit, and detail choices come later in the product flow.
Step 2: Read the Label and Convert Your Size
Open the shirt that fits you well. The number printed on the label inside the collar is your size. Pick that number in the selector. Every size button shows the US and Euro numbers together.

When a letter size covers two numbers, pick the lower number if your current collar feels loose and the higher number if it feels snug. Above US 20, choose Other and pick your size from the list that appears.
Standard Fit also includes an optional Shirt/Jacket Size step, where you enter the size from a shirt or jacket you own to help BomCrewMall understand your size.
No Label? Measure the Collar
- Lay a shirt that fits flat on a bed.
- Measure from the center of the collar button to the far end of the buttonhole.
- That number in inches is your collar size. Compare it with the Size Guide.
No tape? Mark the length on a phone charging cable, then measure the cable against anything with a scale, or use a ruler app.
Still not sure? Choose Not Sure and check out normally. Both lines ask whether you have detailed measurements, so enter them if you have them, along with your height, weight, and current shirt fit. BomCrewMall also helps by call or text.
What If You Fall Between Sizes?
Standard shirts are sized by your collar, so the body gets bigger as the neck does. If your neck and body don't match the same size, the next step is:
| Your situation | Where to start |
|---|---|
Neck and body measurements all match one standard size
Standard Fit
Collar fits, but the body billows like a parachute (larger neck, slimmer build)
Tailored
Collar fits but the body is tight, or the body fits but the collar is loose (smaller neck, fuller build)
Tailored
Measurements fall between sizes
Add a note describing it, then compare Standard Fit with Tailored
Chest fits but stomach does not
Tailored
Sleeves run short or long
Change your sleeve length selection first
You are unsure of your measurements
Select I DON'T KNOW or book a video consultation
Use the comments box on Standard Fit or the fit notes box on Tailored to explain what your current uniform does. If you're unsure how your shirt should sit, read our guide on how a women's pilot shirt should fit, or follow our pilot shirt measurement guide for help with measurements.

Standard sizing fits correctly
Standard sizing forces a compromise
Many pilots have only ever worn stock sizes, so a collar that is nearly right or extra fabric at the waist feels normal. It does not have to be. Tailored is cut to your neck, chest, stomach and hips together, so the shirt sits the way a uniform should.
Tailored also opens our premium fabrics. They have been refined over the years with feedback from the pilots who wear them, and fabrics such as Pegasus and Miami are available only in Tailored.
If a Standard Fit shirt already fits you well everywhere, it is a good choice. Choose a Tailored fit by how you want the shirt to sit, not by a description of your body type.

No More Tailor Visits
A custom pilot shirt made through BomCrewMall's Tailor Your Way process arrives already cut to you, so there is nothing to alter after buying. No tailor visits, no alteration bill, no waiting. For a pilot with only a few days at home, that time matters most.

FAQ
Find answers to common questions about our products and services
Open a women's uniform or dress shirt that fits well. The number printed on the label inside the collar is your size. If you cannot name your size with confidence, select Not Sure.
Convert it with the letter size chart above. XS covers US 0–2, S covers 4–6, M covers 8–10, and L covers 12–14. XL, XXL, and 3XL are US 16, 18, and 20.
Select Not Sure and check out normally. Provide your height, weight, and current shirt fit where the form asks, or call or text BomCrewMall for help.
On Standard Fit, choose the torso and shoulder notes. On Tailored, describe it in the fit notes. Tailored also offers more fit choices if the mismatch repeats across shirts.
No. Size and fit are separate decisions. Tailored offers Trim, Classic, and Comfort, so you change how the shirt sits without changing the base size.
Change your length selection. Length adjusts sleeve and shirt tail while fit and width stay the same, so your size stays put.
For most pilots, yes. A Standard Fit shirt is built around one collar size, so the body is a best guess. Tailored is cut to your neck, chest, stomach and hips together, so it sits cleaner and looks sharper in uniform. Many pilots have only ever worn stock sizes and do not know a shirt cut to them is available. Tailored also opens our premium fabrics, refined over the years with feedback from pilots. If a Standard Fit shirt already fits you well everywhere, it is still a good choice.
No. A Tailored shirt arrives already cut to you, so there are no tailor visits and no alteration costs after you buy. You save the alteration bill and the time it takes to drop off, wait and collect. For a pilot with only a few days at home, that time matters most.
Yes. The product flow includes an I Have Ordered Before option, and BomCrewMall retains your measurements and preferences to make repeat orders easier.
